The Mars Challenge at Ballarat, continued.........

"What a terrific day we had on Sunday for the Mars Challenge, the rain didn't come until late in the afternoon. Matt was part of the ground crew,
transporting bikes, kayaks and getting equipment ready for competitors in our little group" Anni Jensen.

Dave Hebard (who lives near us and also partners up with Julie in

K2 racing, I believe - small world isn't it?)

RESULTS

Fastest time for female team: 'The Better Halves' - 7hrs 23mins 32secs.

JAK finished in second place with a time of 7.23.55 (so close) consisting of:

Kerryn's Run 21km 1.39.50 fastest run 1.33.35 (4th team);
Anni's cycle 79km 2.20.25 fastest cycle 2.20.15 (3rd team); and
Julie's paddle 32km 3.23.23 fastest paddle 3.18.54 (winning team).
